Abbeville- Funeral Services for Linda Faye Pillette is scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Saturday, September 28, 2024 at Christ Community Church - 210 S. St. Valerie Street. Burial will be in the Hills-Rudd Cemetery off Prairie Street. Pastor Warren Milson will officiate the service. Visitation will be at the church from 9:00 A.M. until time of service.
Linda Fay Pillette (61), a long-time resident of Abbeville was born on July 18, 1963 in Lafayette, LA and passed away on September 22, 2024 at Abbeville General Hospital surrounded by her family. She is survived by her husband Edward Pillette, Sr.; her sisters and brother, Brenda M. Nolan (Ted), Catherine L. Broussard, Lola A. Broussard and brother, Allen J. Broussard all of Abbeville, LA; Step-children, Draper Pillette (Nicole) of Abbeville, LA; Edward Pillette, Jr. (LaShanda) of Abbeville, LA; Jatoya Pillette of Lafayette, LA; Julius Landry of Port Arthur, TX; twelve grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Ann Broussard, a sister, Sheila Ann Broussard, one great-niece, Kennedi Ann Broussard, and one great nephew, Cameron Darens J'Kyi Broussard.
