Linda Irene Rhode, 77, of Delta, Colorado, passed away peacefully in her sleep surrounded by her family on Sunday, November 16, 2025.
Linda was born in California and raised in Colorado. She married the one and only love of her life, Jerry Rhode, and together they built a family filled with laughter, strength, and three beautiful sons.
Known for her quick-witted humor, unforgettable storytelling, and her love of a good dirty joke, Linda brought joy and levity into every room she entered. She took tremendous pride in her 25+ years at Community Options, where she cherished her clients and the community she served. Some of her happiest moments were spent cheering on her grandchildren and great-grandchildren at their sporting events. She also found joy in painting ceramic décor for her family, creating pieces that will be treasured for years to come.
Linda is preceded in death by her Husband, Jerry Rhode, her brother Scott and her son, Jason Rhode. She is survived by her sister Pixie Berman, three nieces and one nephew, her son Jayme, her son Zane and his partner, Elise and her daughter in Law, Rachael.
She is also survived by her grandchildren: Falicity, Malaki, Annabelle, Zane, Kayslen, Jyssidia, Dawsen, Brendon, Mayzlen, Stella and Cylas; and by her great-grandchildren: Zyen, Xaedrienna, Mikael, Deklyn, Harrison, Hendricks, Joziah, Ezekiel, Delilah and Jeremiah.
Her family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the caregivers and hospital staff who cared for Linda in her final moments.
Linda was tough as nails, fiercely loyal, and endlessly thoughtful. She never forgot a single birthday or anniversary and made certain that every person she loved felt special and cherished. Her legacy of warmth, humor, and devotion will live on in all who knew her.
Give Uncle Jay a big hug from us all. “Tomorrow, tomorrow, I love you, tomorrow. It’s only a day away.”
