It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Linda Eve Rutledge, who left us on March 5, 2025, at the age of 76. Born on April 24, 1948, in Jennings, LA, Linda was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

Linda was the rock of her family, always bringing them together with her warm spirit and infectious laughter. She cherished the simple joys in life, spending her days bowling, fishing, and enjoying afternoons swinging with her sister, Martha, and granddaughter, Kaitlyn. She also enjoyed the thrill of gambling, always ready for a little fun and excitement.

For many years, Linda dedicated herself to her work, managing at Rays and Broussard Laundromat, where she made lasting friendships and touched the lives of countless patrons.

She leaves behind her devoted husband, Daniel Rutledge, Jr.; her son, Todd (Myra) Rutledge; her cherished grandchildren, Kaitlyn Rutledge and Slaiden Hoffpauir; her sister, Martha (Leonard) Boudreaux; and her brother, Donald Broussard, who will all miss her dearly.

Friends and family will gather to celebrate Linda's life at Miguez Funeral Home on March 9, 2025. A public viewing will take place beginning at 9:30 AM, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM. After the service, she will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery.

Linda's vibrant spirit and love for her family will be remembered and cherished by all who were lucky enough to know her. She will forever remain in our hearts.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents; Lloyd Broussard and Hilda Istre Broussard; and her siblings, Ruth Doucet, Elaine Broussard, Ilaine Broussard, Terry Broussard.
