Linda Ann Schieman, a cherished Christian who graced this world with her generous love and unwavering faith, was called home by our Lord on July 10, 2025, at the blessed age of 72. Linda was born on June 20, 1953, in Mayfield Heights, Ohio, and grew into a remarkable and amazing woman, whose life's journey exemplified the beauty of her spirit. She passed away peacefully with her son and daughter by her side at the Cleveland Clinic.

Linda's life was a treasured gift to all who were touched by her presence. Her warmth radiated to her devoted husband, Walt, and was further echoed in the lives of her loving children, Kelly Bernard, alongside Greg, and Tim Campbell, with his wife Gloria. Her parents Myron and Nancy Dorsch taught her family values, and she passed all of the very important knowledge onto her children and granddaughters. She was a beacon of guidance and love to her treasured brother David Dorsch and his partner, Cliff Bowers. As she walked faithfully in the light of the Lord, Linda became the embodiment of a loving grandmother to her cherished granddaughters, Haleigh, Aly, Aubree, and Macie, instilling in them the fortitude of love and the valor of kindness.

Linda's legacy is a mosaic of her generosity, her loving heart, and her deep-seated faith-a faith that guided her every step. Today, as we honor the blessed memory of Linda Ann Schieman, we are reminded to live each day with purpose, to cherish our loved ones, and to serve with the fullness of our hearts, just as she did. While her physical presence will be dearly missed, her spirit continues to uplift and inspire us. As we bid farewell to this extraordinary soul, we take solace in knowing that she is watching over us from a place of heavenly peace, her light forever shining in our hearts.

Visitation for friends and family will be held on Thursday, July 17, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South Street, Chardon, OH 44024. The Funeral Service will begin at 12:30 p.m. Interment to follow at Knollwood Cemetery, 1678 SOM Center Road, Mayfield Heights, OH 44124.

Arrangements are entrusted to Burr Funeral Home and Cremation Service. Online condolences and memories may be shared at www.burrservice.com.

I feel a great loss. Linda was a unique and wonderful person, a true christian, heart, mind, and deed. I will cherish memories of the many happy times with Linda and Pastor Walt, at Friends Church and in their home in Chardon. Only.
Jesus could have inspired such a beautiful life.

We are so sorry to hear of Linda's passing. There are a multitude of memories from the early days of her kids, meeting and marrying Walt, sitting in Sunday School at Willougby Hills Friends Church where Walt taught us with his special insight and humor with Linda being right there beside him, being a support to her husband. When they moved on to New Promise Linda was missed, and continues to be missed, by the women who she was such a godly example to. May God through the Holy Spirit continue to comfort you , Walt, Kelly and Tim until you are reunited in Him.

Saddened to hear of Linda´s passing. She was such a special lady and she was always kind and thoughtful to me when I lived in Cleveland (1987-1989). My thoughts and prayers go out to her beloved husband Walt, Tim and Kelly, to her brother Dave Dorsch and her parents.
