Linda Sue (Farmer) Strahler, 74, of Bloomingburg, Ohio, passed away peacefully at her home on June 19, 2025, surrounded by the love and presence of her family.
Linda was born December 13, 1950, in Gallipolis, Ohio to the late Malcolm and Helen (Shepherd) Farmer. She attended Bloomingburg Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed playing cards and testing her luck at the casinos, but most of all she enjoyed sharing time with her family.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Strahler in 2018, and by her siblings, Billy, Danny, Terry, and Denise.
Survivors include her children, April Edwards of Bloomingburg, Melissa Strahler of New Holland, Thomas Christopher (Christina) Strahler of Washington CH, and Chad (Meghan) Strahler of Leesburg; grandchildren, Corless Dixon, Bethany Rinehart, Chasity Arnett, Tiffany Streitenberger, Tyler Strahler, Skyler Strahler, Thomas Zacery Strahler, Katelynn Frazier, and Ciera Strahler; 21 great grandchildren, sisters, Nancy Pottle and Brenda Cordy; and many other extended family members and friends.
A funeral is planned for 1pm on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at the Roberts Funeral Home in Washington Court House with Kurt Cordy officiating. Burial will follow in the Bloomingburg Cemetery. The family will receive friends and family on Tuesday from 11am until the start of the service.
