Linda Margaret Street, “Gram,” age 67, of Roosevelt, passed away unexpectedly on August 23, 2023, at her home.
She was born March 28, 1956, in San Francisco, California, to Earl and Mary Miller. She married the love of her life, Ronnie Street, on September 29, 1973, and they were together for 44 years before he passed away on March 25, 2017. She later met Denny LaRose and had spent time with him until her passing.
Linda was “Gram” to everybody and everybody who knew her, loved her dearly. She adored her family and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Her mother was born on a Gypsy caravan, and Linda was very proud of her Gypsy heritage. She enjoyed spending time outdoors, watching the wildlife, hunting, fishing and camping. Her favorite pastime was ghost hunting, having had the opportunity to go searching for the supernatural with some of the more well known ghost hunters in the U.S. She collected crystals and did all types of arts and crafts. She and her daughter, Ronda, were partners-in-crime and rarely apart. She loved her dog, “Buddy.”
Linda is survived by her partner, Denny LaRose; of Roosevelt; five children, Ronda (Cory) Sweat, Roosevelt; Randy (Lyn Dawn) Street, Wendy (Jason) Leishman; Cody (Neddy) Street, Cindy (Larry) Phelps, all of Duchesne; including four bonus sons, William (Rachel) Street; Dustin (Jennifer) Street; Ronnie (Elizabeth) Street; adopted son, Chance Reed; 24 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Rick (Heidi) Miller; Robert (LeAnne) Miller; John Miller; Kathy (Wayne) Ryker, Sheila Baum; mother-in-law, Wanda McDonald; daughter-in-law, Sherri Street; brother-in-law, Mike Street; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Street; parents; Earl & Mary Miller; brothers, Bill & Jimmy Miller; sister-in-law, Wilda Street; great-grandson, Mateo Nunez; sister, Sue Chapman; her brothers-in-law, Keith Chapman & Vernon Baum; father-in-law, Alton Street; and father -in-law, Jim McDonald.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at the Hullinger Mortuary. There will be a viewing at the mortuary on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10-10:45 a.m.
Burial will be in the Strawberry Cemetery in Duchesne.
