Linda “Taz” Elaine Gabrych, 71 of Winona, died Thursday, November 28, 2024 at Gundersen Health System in La Crosse.
Linda was born November 12, 1953 in Decorah, IA to Edward and Lugene (Nulty) Kuhn. She graduated from Winona Senior High School. On May 19, 1979, she married Gene Gabrych. Linda worked at Watlow, Lake Center Switch and Wincraft throughout the years. She also worked as a cook at several local restaurants.
Linda was amazing when it came to baking and cooking. In her earlier years, she enjoyed golfing, bowling, playing softball and camping. She enjoyed an occasional trip to the casino, but most important was her family and spending time with them.
She is survived by her husband, Gene; son, Travis Gabrych (Melina Hosch); two grandchildren, Jack and Lucy Gabrych; brothers and sisters, Karen (Ron) Arends, Gary (Marion) Kuhn, Wanda Kuhn, Cheryl Ellefson, Denise (John) Hazuka, Betty (Butch) Niver, Ron (Shari) Kuhn, Irene (Wayne) Sing, and Brenda Kuhn; many nieces and nephews; her special friends, Mary Mueller and MiMi, and her four legged companion, Rusty.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A Celebration of her life will be from 1-4 p.m., on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at the VFW (208 East 3rd Street, Winona).
