SHELBY- Linda Tessneer, born on February 2, 1947, in Cleveland County, North Carolina, peacefully passed away on October 1, 2025, at the age of 78 in her hometown. She was a cherished soul whose presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Linda devoted her life to her family and faith. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who had an incredible ability to touch the lives of everyone around her with kindness and compassion. Those who knew Linda will remember her as a godly woman with a warm heart, always ready to lend a hand to anyone in need.
Linda had a great love for flower gardening, finding joy and tranquility among the blooms she nurtured so lovingly. Her garden was a reflection of her spirit, vibrant and full of life.
She attended church with her siblings, sharing in fellowship and faith throughout her life. Linda was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Carl and Margaret Goins; her devoted husband, Jimmy Tessneer; her dear sisters, Pat and Lib Goins; and her brother, Steve Goins.
She leaves behind a legacy of love through her surviving family: her sons, Tim Tessneer and his wife Lisa, and Marty Tessneer; her sister, Brenda Henson and her husband David; her brothers, Wayne Goins and Larry Goins; along with six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews who adored her greatly.
Linda Tessneer will forever be remembered for her kind heart, steadfast faith, and unwavering love for her family and community. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have known her.
