It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Linda C Tidwell of Aledo Texas. She passed away in the early morning hours of September 19, 2025. Linda was born in Miami, Florida to ED and Geneva Monk. She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Ralph Tidwell; her daughter, Kimberly Davis, with her children Conner Davis, Gabrielle Davis and Ariana Davis; and her stepson, Clay Tidwell, and his wife, JoLee Tidwell, and their daughter, Shelbi Tidwell.

One of Linda's greatest loves was her family and friends. She made many friends during her 40 years with Southwestern Bell, many of which continued through her life. She enjoyed traveling, reading, crafting, quilting and stain glass. She shared her love of quilting and reading with her grandchildren which brought her joy.

Her friends and family remember her laugh, her desire to help anyone in need. Her generosity ensured that visitors would often leave with a gift or token to remember time spent together.

Linda was a member of First Baptist Church of Granbury, Texas. Her strong Christian faith helped her through her illness.

The family will be forever grateful for the help of close friends during times of joy and sadness.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Larry Monk.

A celebration of life will be held on October 11, 2025 at 1:00 pm at Wiley Funeral Home in Granbury, Texas. Friends and family are invited to gather in remembrance.
