Linda Belleau, passed to her Heavenly home on September 28, 2025 in Granbury, Texas. Linda was born on July 5, 1945 in Roswell, New Mexico to Robert Murphy and Mary Jones Murphy.
Linda was a third-grade teacher in Scottsdale, Arizona and was working as a waitress in Estes Park, Colorado as a summer job when she met and married Jim Belleau in 1975.
She lived in Estes Park from 1975 to 1992 and spent most of that time as a stay-at-home Mom and substitute teacher for the Estes Park school district.
Linda and Jim moved with their family to Granbury in 1992, when Jim retired from the masonry subcontracting business.
After moving to Granbury, Linda was very active in her church, Good Shephard Episcopal Church in Acton (now Good Shephard Anglican Church). She absolutely loved going to the ladies bible studies and luncheons, teaching children Sunday school and volunteering for all kinds of things through the Church.
She was an active volunteer for the Hood County Master Gardeners.
Jim passed away in 2021 and she lived in the family home until 2023 when she moved to Aviva Senior living in Granbury, Texas.
Linda is survived by: son, Greg Belleau of Granbury, TX; step-son, Todd Belleau of Brighton, CO; Brian Belleau of Estes Park CO; step-daughter, Tami Monroe of Argyle, NY.
She was preceded in death by: husband, Jim Belleau; father, Robert Murphy; mother, Mary Murphy; brother, Terry Murphy.
A Funeral Mass is scheduled for October 25, 2025 at the Good Shepherd Anglican Church in Granbury, Texas beginning at 11:00 AM.
