I wish to send my condolences to the Weedon family for the passing of their father, grandfather, and so much more. I grieve with you and for all of you. Lovell, was a well-respected man who loved his wife and children. He was a man with great integrity, wisdom, and character. He greeted everyone with a big smile and was genuinely interested in the well-being of others'. He was quite a character and I never heard one bad thing about him. My own father always spoke highly of him and chuckled at his sense of humor. Back in the 70s and 80s, a few coffee drinkers would gather around a table at the local Cafe´. They were all there to catch up on the local politics, and to tell tall tales, hash over old rumors, and listen to new ones. These guys genuinely enjoyed each other's company for a few brief moments once or twice a week. Lovell was a genuine one-of-a-kind character, who loved telling stories; and he was very skilled at that craft. I will always remember him and the others fondly, laughing, slapping their knees, and truly enjoying their time well spent. As they were about to wrap it up for the day, they´d jokingly argue, Whose got the check? Everyone claims it; one beats the others to pay it. With each passing day, the table grows larger, and there are more empty seats. You could feel the shift, because time waits for no man! I was so fortunate to have been present, and entertained by so many of these amazing gentlemen who influenced my life in so many ways. Their memories are forever engraved in my mind and my heart.
So, thank you, Lovell, for the memories of days gone bye! Jinx, Nikki, and your entire family, you´ve been so blessed. He was one of the great ones!
