Linda H. Tisenchek

Linda H. Tisenchek, a cherished wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2025, in Hendersonville, North Carolina, at the age of 81. Born on March 16, 1944, in Oneonta, New York, she graced this world with her kindness and creativity for over eight decades.

Linda's life was a tapestry woven with love, artistry, and devotion. As a talented floral designer, she brought beauty into the lives of many through her delightful arrangements. Linda had a passion for gardening and loved sharing her beautiful flowers with others. She enjoyed making crafts and turning nature into gifts of art. Her cooking was enjoyed by everyone who came to her warm and inviting home. She also enjoyed listening to live music and could always be seen tapping her toes or encouraging others to dance. She was dedicated to her husband, Donald, for over 60 years, her daughter Amy, and treasured all of her friends near and far.

Linda was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Elwood and Jean (Graves) Hamm; her brother, Dennis Hamm; and her sister, Sharon McGrade. She is survived by her devoted husband, Donald Tisenchek, whose love and partnership were the cornerstone of her life, and cherished daughter, Amy Tisenchek (Ali Daughtry). They will carry forward her legacy of love and creativity.

Her memory will also be held dear by her many nieces and nephews: Dellene (Len) Carson, Denise (Bret) Hale, Donny Schmidt, Denny (Kim) Schmidt, Rod Hamm, Michael Hamm (Tom Haas), Mary Beth Hamm, Andrea (Victor) Ronovech, Karen Hurley, Louis (Cathyrn) Tisenchek, Douglas Tisenchek, Paula (Jerry) Cook, and Janice Hinkley. Linda's dedication to her family and her deep friendships enriched the lives of all who knew her.

In honor of Linda's compassionate spirit, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Blue Ridge Humane Society in Hendersonville, NC (www.blueridgehumane.org). Her love for animals and commitment to their well-being was a cause close to her heart.

Linda will be remembered for her boundless love, artistic spirit, and the joy she brought to everyone she encountered. Her legacy will forever bloom in the hearts of those she touched.
