Linda A Uhlig

Linda A. Uhlig age 74, of Arabi, passed away on August 6, 2025. She was the daughter of the late Chester Johnson and Hazel Langel Johnson. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Richard McTamney, and one granddaughter, Alexis Livingston. Linda was a retired nurse, but her real joy was being a homemaker for her family. The joy she had in serving her children and grandchildren was a testimony to her love for them. Beyond her family, she loved her dog and had a tremendous admiration for her chickens. The sheer pleasure she took in feeding and raising them was a daily chore of sincerest delight. Linda is survived by her children, Jamie Livingston of Arabi, GA, Walter Uhlig of Levittown, NY, Dorothy Uhlig of Virginia, and Victor Uhlig of Arabi; and numerous grandchildren. The family will hold a private ceremony in Linda's honor at a later time.
