Linda Wolfe, long time resident of Las Cruces, passed away August 23, 2025, in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, September 20th, 2025. Services will be held at Sierra Vista Community Church, 514 N. Telshor, directly behind T-Mobile, with Pastor Ruben Ortega officiating.
Linda was born in Socorro, New Mexico, to Nathan and Maye Hall on June 20, 1944. She attended school in Magdalena, New Mexico. She married Jimmy Wolfe on June 25, 1961. She attended New Mexico State University where she received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in education. She worked for the Las Cruces Public Schools for over thirty years before retiring to spend more time with her grandchildren.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Nathan and Maye Hall, her children, Nathan Franklin Wolfe and Kenneth Dale Wolfe, and her husband, Jimmy Dale Wolfe.
Linda is survived by her children Michael Ray Wolfe, Marianna Jean and her husband David Selph, and Michelle Liane and her husband Joseph Valdez, grandchildren, Nicholas Wolfe, Kenneth Selph, Kaley, Nathan, and Leah Valdez. She is also survived by extended family in New Mexico and Mississippi.
