Our sincere sympathy to Lindsay´s family. We remember Lindsey as a young teenager all dressed up for Halloween enjoying the neighborhood festivities. Her smile radiated joy and happiness.

I first met Lindsay when Pastor Lisa Crenshaw gave me a list of Victory Church people to call during Covid, people who might need a check-in prayer. Our hearts connected right away. We kept in touch since then. Most recently, Lindsay was on the prayer team for my upcoming book release. She emailed words of encouragement when I really needed it. We prayed for each other's writing, as she was a gifted writer. Everyone who met Lindsay experienced a touch of Jesus' love and light. What a beautiful woman of God. She sparkled with heaven's glory while she walked this earth. I was blessed to know her. Though we know she is with Jesus now, she will always be deeply missed here.

So very sorry for the family´s loss. We knew Lindsay back in high school days at Hope Community when she was friends with our daughter Lindsay and we saw in Lindsay a deep faith and sincere commitment to Jesus. She fought hard her health battles and always showed grace. Jesus is enjoying her company now .

I first met Lindsay when Pastor Lisa Crenshaw gave me a list of Victory Church folks to call during Covid, people who might need a check-in prayer. Our hearts connected right away. We kept in touch since then, through phone calls, texts, emails, cards, online prayer groups, and in-person visits. One special visit was our Women's Gathering Circle which met in my backyard in the summer of 2023. Lindsay was well enough to join us that day and even brought a friend. We had a multicultural potluck picnic and her cooking was a hit. She made cheddar jalapeno bread and blueberry cheesecake. I attached 2 pictures from this event. Lindsay looked radiant.
Every time I connected with Lindsay, I came away uplifted and encouraged. She shared about her obstacles in life with truth and faith. I always appreciated that Lindsay was honest about her health struggles. She didn't hide her pain. However, her faith in Jesus shone like a beacon in the night. Each time we talked on the phone, we prayed before hanging up and Lindsay's prayers lifted me right into the Presence of God. Her close relationship with the Lord showered His divine light onto me.
Lindsay and I often discussed and prayed for each other's writing. She knew her testimony would be powerful to put down on paper, but struggled to find the strength and stamina to write. Yet, despite her own difficulties, she encouraged me to keep up with my writing- my blog and my books. She had a heart of gold. It takes my breath away to remember how she cheered for me amid her suffering.
Most recently, Lindsay was on the prayer team for my upcoming book release. Lindsay sent me emails of encouragement in the past few weeks that buoyed my spirit when I really needed it. The Holy Spirit flowed through her words into my heart. I will never forget this.
I am grateful because I know Lindsay is in the arms of Jesus now, wrapped in His love. And there is no more sickness, sorrow, pain, or tears. But my tears are flowing. Because I miss her beautiful heart, lovely presence, and bright faith. Lindsay was an extraordinary young woman of God. To know Lindsay, was to experience a touch from Jesus. Her story will never be forgotten by anyone who knew her, or by the Lord who walked with her until He brought her home to heaven. May we cherish Lindsay's beautiful memory and carry on the baton of faith she has passed to us until we see her in heaven one day.
Like Lindsay, because of Jesus, though we weep, we have hope.

While I only knew Lindsay through her father, I know she was a woman of strength, love and hope, even in the face of her illness. I also know she will be missed greatly and remembered every day by her family. My heart goes out to them all. Margaret
