Linzie Scott Collins

Linzie Scott Collins, age 50, of Cedar Bluff, Virginia, passed away Sunday, November 16, 2025 following a sudden illness.
He was born in Richlands, Virginia and was the son of Lula Ferrell Collins of Cedar Bluff, Virginia and the late Rodney Collins.
He was a lifelong resident of the area and was employed at Ceramic Tech in Cedar Bluff, Virginia. Scott was a member of the Richlands Fire and Rescue and the Cedar Bluff Fire Department. Scott had been a volunteer firefighter for over 30 years.

Special Friends: Parson, Jenson, and Ripley Kincaid.
Funeral services for Linzie Scott Collins will be conducted Thursday, November 20, 2025 at 2pm at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Chapel in Richlands, Virginia with the Pastor Carol Cornwell officiating. Burial will follow at the Collins Family Cemetery in Cedar Bluff, Virginia. Pallbearers will be: Thomas Heintz, Cole Watts, Nick Johnson, Tyler Johnson, Brian Johnson, Michael Montaigne, Keith Whitt, and Jeff Johnson. Friends may visit with the family from 12pm until 2pm on Thursday prior to the funeral.
