Lisa Beelle Obituary

Lisa Suzanne Beelle

Concord, NH - Lisa Suzanne Beelle, 58, of Concord, NH, passed unexpectedly following complications from Congestive Heart Failure and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease on Sunday, January 5, 2024, at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester. She is the beloved wife of Barbara Beelle with whom she shared 24 years of marriage.

Lisa was born on September 8, 1966, in Nashua, NH, to the late Louis and Irene (St. Pierre) Archambault. Lisa graduated from Mount St. Mary Seminary with the class of 1984 and continued her education at the University of New Hampshire where she studied Therapeutic Recreation and was a founding member of the Alliance, the LGBTQIAP+ student organization.

For over 20 years, Lisa worked with Social Security Disability for the State of NH.

In her free time, Lisa was a world traveler, including her most recent trips to Antarctica and Europe. She was an enthusiast of foreign languages, practicing daily with Duolingo. Lisa and Barbara happily accompanied one another on spontaneous day trips, attended countless concerts, and never shied away from trying new restaurants where they could have a taste of delicious international foods.

Lisa was a beloved and dedicated member of First Congregational Church in Hopkinton, NH, often at the helm of live streaming services, serving on the racial justice team, speaking in worship, contributing in Thursday book group, and participating in the biennial variety show. Her good wisdom, grounded presence, warm sense of humor, and deep sense of spirituality made everyone she met the better for knowing her.

In addition to her wife, Barbara, she is survived by her four siblings, Pierre Archambault and his wife Jean Stawarz of MA, Denise Richard of FL, Ernest Archambault and his wife Diana of FL, and Daniel Archambault and his wife Terrie of FL; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to Lisa's visitation on SATURDAY, January 11th from 1 until 4 PM at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua, NH. Her Memorial Service at First Congregational Church in Hopkinton, NH, will take place at a later date. Although we were coworkers, I did not know Lisa well. I did, however, appreciate her work ethic and her professionalism. Her passing is clearly a loss by many who knew her and how fully she lived her life. I am deeply saddened that such a life ends at much too young an age. My condolences to all who lived her and will truly miss her.

Lisa was an amazing work friend; having someone to geek out about linguistics and make puns with always brightened my day. She was an amazing font of knowledge in just about everything and her stories about her adventures made me jealous in the best possible way. She was also an incredibly patient teacher which I appreciated.

My condolences to Lisa´s family. We worked in the same building, and I was just thinking about her the other day. Over the years, from time to time, we would chat while on the treadmill at the gym. She always had a good attitude.

I am so saddened to hear of Lisa's passing. Although I did not know her long, I was impressed by her sharp mind, her ability to simply teach complex concepts, and her kindness.

I am so very sorry to hear of Lisa's passing. She was way to young. I know she had medical problems even when I worked with her several years ago. She was a quick learner as shown by her promotion to QA. She will be missed by many especially Barbara. Trudy Marshall

I worked with Lisa for the State of New Hampshire. We were also neighbors, inasmuch as we both lived in Franklin. We occasionally swapped cat-sitting services when we were out of town. Lisa impressed me with her love of life, and her enthusiasm to try new things. She did some woodworking projects, initially under the guidance of my husband. I remember Lisa fondly. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to Barbara and everyone of her family.
