Lisa Cupit Obituary
Lisa Michelle Cupit of Hayesville went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 1, 2026. She was born on March 6, 1969 to the late Max Ray and Eileen Duffy Lastinger.
Lisa is survived by her husband, Ken Cupit; and her daughter, Sabrina Cardasi; her siblings, Melinda Dawn Keithley (Tony), Deneen Blair (Jim), Denise Duffy Nash, and Tammie Lee Varieur (Ray).
She had a large family across many cities and states, including Ken's family, which she counted as her own, Kirsten Rudin-Daughter, Scott Cupit-Son, and Connie Cupit-Mother.
Her dogs were the world to her....Cletus aka, Bo Bo Nugget, Ella Mae Clampit, Daisy Duke, Toby Keith, Peanut and Sadie, and two pups, Annie Oakley and Ben Hogan.
Her husband, Ken was her best friend. They enjoyed numerous adventures together, random rides of sightseeing. Cows and flowers were among her favorite and would say, "stop, we have to get that picture", and she would surround herself in them, and Ken would snap away!!
Lisa loved to dress up in her unique style and go to dinner with Ken, one of their favorite pastimes. Lisa was the epitome of "Life" and everyone everywhere she went, loved her.
She was the best bartender around (mixologist) and was the only one who could make a great drink and witness Jesus to her customers at the same time. She loved the Lord. Easter Sunday Sunrise service was Ken and Lisa's first official date.
She was very Loved and will be undeniably missed.
Services will be held at 2:30 pm Monday, February 16, 2026 at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, 50 Marvin Cabe Lane, Hayesville, NC 28904.
The family will receive friends from 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm prior to the services.
"Celebration of Life" to follow at Margarita Jack's, 2397 NC-175, Hayesville, NC 28904.
Townson-Rose Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
