Dear Bill, Sue, and Family. I am terribly sorry to hear of Lisa's passing. I think that but for Lisa, my brother (John Alegnani) would forever have called me TT. Lisa made him learn to say "Lisa." May she rest in peace.

Dear Hill Family. I am sorry for the lateness of this note to you but I just today received notice of Lisa's passing. I was one her professors in the theatre dept at Western. I still to this day recall her vivid portrayal of the character Hedda Gabler. I can only agree with all of the positive traits mentioned about her. I know she will be greatly missed. My condolences Jackson Kesler Professor Emeritus

I was so sorry to read of Lisa's passing. She and my son, Bill, were good friends in high school. Their friendship continued throughout their adult lives. The last time I saw Lisa was when Bill passed away in 2016.
My thoughts and prayers are with you.

As the buyer of books for young people for many years at Ingram, I came to appreciate Lisa's sales call, not as business, but as a visit from a good friend. We shared a similar world view, a wicked sense of humor and a love of good literature for the youngest readers. She made a valuable contribution and will be missed.

Lisa traveled with me and a group of friends to Chicago for NYE celebration in 1999 when this photo was taken. She loved theater and musicals.

Lisa was a member of the cast for the 1996 production of Tapestry and brought her beautiful voice to the music of Carol King. She has joined the angel choir in Heaven. Sing out our dear friend.

Dear Hill Family, My heart is broken to learn of Lisa's death and I know your hearts ache so much deeper. I'm writing to offer my condolences to the family.
Lisa was a dear friend to me when I lived in Owensboro and I am forever grateful for her friendship. We bonded through our shared love of animals, theater, gardening, food, religion, politics, and music. Lisa always made us laugh with her dry wit and often sarcastic humor. I'll never forget the day she joined me and several other friends for a day of boating on the Ohio River and the moment she abruptly announced that she was going to "swim laps." "In the OHIO RIVER?," I responded. And in the next moment, with nose plug, swim cap, and ear plugs in place, she was overboard and in the middle of the river. She later would call it her Esther Williams moment.
Lisa performed in Theater Workshop of Owensboro's production of Tapestry with me in 1996. She brought her beautiful voice to the music of Carol King.
She has undoubtedly joined Heaven's choir.
Prayers for peace and comfort.

Oh Lisa, you gave me and many others in the book business so much love, laughter, and friendship. I will miss your wit and your compassion. After so many years, you are finally pain-free. You are gone, but definitely not forgotten.

Bill and Sue, I am so very sorry to hear of Lisa's passing. Amelia, Lisa and I had kept in touch over Facebook since we saw each other when we brought my Dad's ashes to Kentucky. She was on my mind this past week, as I hadn't heard anything from her for a while. I hope she rests in peace and is free of the pain she had been experiencing. My love to your entire family.
