Lisa Ann Kerr, born on November 20, 1963, in Potsdam, New York, passed away peacefully on July 2, 2025, at the age of 61, in her family home in Chesapeake, Virginia.

Lisa was a devoted family woman whose life was centered around her incredible family. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her loved ones and ensuring that she was the best wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend possible. Her nurturing spirit and unwavering dedication to her family will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.

Raised in the serene town of Norfolk, New York, Lisa graduated from high school, carrying forward the values instilled in her by her late parents, John and Sue Donnelly, who preceded her in death. She was married to Terry Kerr in May of 1986 and co-piloted his amazing Naval career of 35 years. They recently celebrated their 39th wedding anniversary in May 2025. Throughout her life, she remained spiritual in her own way.

Lisa is survived by her beloved husband, Terry L. Kerr, who stood by her side through every chapter of their life together. She is also survived by three adult daughters: Stephanie Kerr, Ashley Laurentz, and Hailey Kerr; seven grandchildren; her brothers, Brian and Gerald Donnelly; and her sister, Maureen Donnelly. Her legacy of love and compassion will continue to live on through the cherished memories shared by her family and friends.

Lisa will be remembered for her gentle strength, her unwavering support, and her boundless love for those dear to her heart. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth and kindness that will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing her.
