Lisa Ann Kershner-Vandall, a devoted partner, loving mother, cherished sister, and dear friend, passed away March 17th, 2024, in Wheeling, WV. Born on October 16th, 1968, in Hinton, WV, daughter of late Annalee Louise Cox and Freddie Lee Vandall, Lisa brought light and love into the lives of all who knew her. A graduate of Meadow Bridge High School, Lisa's passion for cosmetology led her to a fulfilling career as a salon manager at Great Clips in Moundsville, WV since 2017 with many prior years of management experience. Driven by a passion for beauty and a desire to uplift others, Lisa pursued a career as a beautician, becoming not only a skilled professional but also a trusted mentor to those she served. Through her work she brought joy and confidence to countless individuals, leading an indelible mark on the hearts of all who crossed her path.
Beyond her professional achievements, Lisa's greatest joy was found in her role as a dedicated mother and partner. Lisa's kindness, compassion, and zest for life touched the hearts of everyone she met. Whether she was spending time with loved ones, enjoying music, shopping, cooking, or tending to her garden, Lisa embraced each moment with grace and gratitude. Lisa leaves behind her beloved partner, Arthur Antonio "Tony" Pickens, her cherished daughter, Candace Jade Harless, her beloved son, Travis Ray Harless, and her dear sister, Kendra Calhoun.
While we mourn her physical absence, Lisa's spirit lives on in the memories we hold dear. A native of Meadow Bridge, WV, Lisa's journey led her to touch the lives of many in Parkersburg and Wheeling, WV. As we honor her memory, let us find comfort in the love she shared and the legacy of kindness she leaves behind.
