Lisa Ann McKenzie of Lonoke, Arkansas passed into the arms of her Lord and Savior, Saturday, March 15, 2025 at the age of 56, after a hard fought battle with cancer. Lisa was born September 23, 1968 in Stuttgart, Arkansas to Therrell and Patricia Umholtz. Lisa grew up in Clarendon and attended Marvell Academy, graduating class of 1986. She attended college at Arkansas State University and graduated in 1989 with a degree in accounting. Lisa and Kevin grew up together and married after she graduated high school in 1986. They celebrated their 38th wedding anniversary this past December 20th.
Lisa was an avid reader, loved traveling, boating on the lake, watching movies with her husband and spending as much time as possible with her family. She was an amazing daughter, wife and mother and will be incredibly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Lisa is preceded in death by her father, Therrell Umholtz and maternal grandmother Beulah Smith. Left to cherish her memory; mother, Patricia Ann Smith Umholtz; her husband, Kevin McKenzie; sons, Reid (Madeline) McKenzie, Lucas (Ella) McKenzie.
Visitation will be 2:00pm, Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at the Lonoke Baptist Church with a Celebration of Life at 3:00pm. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked please make donations to the Fellowship of Christian Athletes of Arkansas or to Family Resource Services of Lonoke (Food Bank). Arrangements by Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke.
