With an impish grin that could light up the darkest room and a heart as big as her spirit, Lisa Jean Peckinpaugh, "Tink" or "Brat" as she was affectionately known to her loved ones, took her final bow on October 6, 2025. Born on December 20, 1971, in Phelps, WI. Lisa was a funny, compassionate, loving, and spirited woman who lived her life with an enviable gusto.
Lisa's life was a journey that began in the humble town of Eagle River, then took her to Schaumburg, IL, before finally settling in the bright and vibrant city of Las Vegas, NV.
As a LPN in Home Care, Lisa not only fulfilled her lifelong dream but also served as a beacon of comfort and care for her patients. This achievement was not just an award but a testament to her unwavering dedication and deep-seated compassion. But Lisa's love didn't stop there. She was a loving wife, a cherished family member, a doting cat mom, and a caring friend. Her husband, Jerry, can attest to the fact that Lisa cared more about everyone else than she did for herself.
Lisa is survived by her husband, Jerry Peckinpaugh; and her sisters, Karla (Chuck) Healy, Shirley (Ron) Jesse and Tammy (Mark) Westbrook; and her brothers, William (MaryKay) Rogers and James Rogers; several nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews; sister in laws, Mary Ann Gerischer and Jane Poston; brother in law, Jim (Lynn) Peckinpaugh. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Virginia Rogers, brother, David, fur baby, Sadie and mother in law, Molly Peckinpaugh.
As we mourn her departure from our lives, we remember the words of Matthew 5:4, "Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted." This is a reassurance that while Lisa is no longer with us physically, her spirit continues to live on.
Though we say goodbye, Lisa's legacy continues through the stories shared, the pictures captured, and the memories treasured. Her light continues to shine brightly, reminding us of the loving, funny, and spirited woman who touched our lives in myriad ways.
A celebration of life will be held in May 2026 in Eagle River, WI.
