Marilyn E. and Walter S. Peckingpaugh
Marilyn E. Peckinpaugh (nee Bowden) and Walter S. Peckingpaugh, Jr. of Moreland Hills, OH and Bonita Springs, FL passed away tragically in Islamorada, FL, Marilyn on March 20th and Walter on March 21st, 2025. Marilyn and Walter loved jazz music and travelling annually to Mackinac Island, Michigan for their jazz festival. They also loved to travel, and especially enjoyed cruising and visiting the Keys. Marilyn enjoyed playing golf and tennis “with the gals”. Walt was very active in the National Senior Men’s Tennis Association. He was a 1965 graduate of Hiram College and an active alumnus. They were both very active in the Moreland Hills, OH and Bonita Springs, FL communities and will be missed by their many friends there and around the globe.
Marilyn and Walt are survived by their sons, Thomas J. Peckinpaugh (Tequilla) of Spring Hill, FL and Daniel A. Peckinpaugh (Hallie) of Tavares, FL; grandchildren, Aurora, Madison, Kailee, Conner, and Evie; Marilyn is also survived by her sister Janet Bowden (Bob Wehrle) of Mentor, OH. She was preceded in death by her parents, Margaret and Willard Bowden of South Euclid, OH. Walt is also survived by his sister Sarah Hoemann (Warren) of Hamilton, Montana; and brother Steve Peckinpaugh (Catherine) of Stevensville, Montana. He was preceded in death by his wife Marilyn; parents Annabelle and Walter S. Peckinpaugh, Sr. of Cleveland Heights, Ohio and Hamilton, Montana.
MEMORIAL GATHERING AND TIME OF REMEMBRANCE ON TUESDAY, APRIL 1, 2025 FROM 6 TO 8 pm AT THE MAHER MELBOURNE FUNERAL HOME, 5236 MAYFIELD ROAD, LYNDHURST (EAST OF RICHMOND ROAD).
