Lisa Saylor Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Clark Legacy Center - Frankfort on Nov. 16, 2024.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lisa Saylor, who left this world peacefully at her residence in Shelbyville, Kentucky, on November 12, 2024. Born on March 20, 1969, in Birmingham, Alabama, Lisa was a devoted daughter to Billie Lee and the late Lewis Lee.
Having dedicated 20 years with the Kentucky State Department of Revenue, Lisa was known for her unwavering commitment to her work and community. Her colleagues and family alike admired her diligence and integrity.
Lisa was a cherished wife to Ron Saylor and a loving mother to four children: Amanda Priode (Dustin), Haley Clemons (James), Nicholas Saylor, and Jacob Saylor. Her life was further blessed with the laughter and joy of her grandchildren: Olivia Logan, Jaxon Priode, and Houston Clemons, who were the light of her life. Her family was an expansive circle of love, including her ever-supportive mother, Billie Lee, her mother-in-law, Lucinda Saylor, and her sisters: Laurie Lee (Mike), Lyn Lee Guarnieri, Lesley Lee (Brian), and Lacy Lee (Larry). Lisa also shared a special bond with her sister-in-law, Debbie Wibel, and brother-in-laws: Terry Saylor Jr (Pam) and Brian Saylor (Kimari) and leaves behind several nieces, nephews and extended family who all mourn her passing. Preceded in death by her father, Lewis Lee, and father-in-law, Terry Saylor Sr, Lisa now joins them in eternal rest, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and compassion.
A Celebration of Life service honoring Lisa will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024, from 1:00 pm - 3:00 p.m. at Clark Legacy Center, located at 3000 Versailles Road, Frankfort, Kentucky.
Lisa Saylor will be fondly remembered for the warmth of her spirit and her enduring love for her family. In this time of mourning, may we all find comfort in the lasting impact Lisa made in our lives and the beautiful memories she leaves behind.

To my mother in heaven, thank you for always loving us and giving us the best life possible. You were the absolute best mother and grandmother. I am so grateful we have wonderful memories to hold on to forever. Your memory will live on through your grandchildren which you loved dearly. We will make sure to tell them how much you loved them. We have some sense of peace knowing you are in a much better place where there is no pain. You will be missed deeply but you will forever be in our hearts. May your beautiful soul rest in peace. We love you.
