Lisa Rose Shaffer 44, of Livonia, passed away on May 19, 2024. Lisa was born on August 5, 1979, in Detroit, Michigan to Richard and Andrea Krolicki. Devoted wife of James "JP" Shaffer for almost 18 years. Loving mother of Emma Shaffer. Cherished sister of Erin (Damon) Guyitt. Beloved aunt of Nolan and Logan Guyitt. She is preceded in death by her grandparents Michael and Rose Feczko, Richard and Virginia Krolicki, and her in-laws William and Deborah Shaffer. Lisa is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Lisa will be remembered as a devoted mother and a friend to everyone she met. She cherished every moment she could spend with Emma and her nephews. Lisa was a tremendous photographer and started creating picture storybooks for her whole family. This turned into a family tradition. In College Lisa enjoyed sharing her love of photography with everyone including the Livonia drama camps! She loved to spend time in the yard landscaping and working with flowers. This led to the family starting a vegetable garden which Lisa and Emma would tend to while JP cooked for the family to eat. When Emma was young, Lisa was very involved in getting her into girl scouts. When Emma was no longer interested in scouting, everyone thought that Lisa would continue by herself because she enjoyed it so much. Lisa was also an avid supporter of the animal rescue societies, and loved her companions, Sunny and Rain.
A Memorial Visitation will be held on Friday, May 24, 2024 from 3-8 pm, with a Rosary at 7pm, at Neely-Turowski Funeral Home 30200 Five Mile Rd. Livonia, MI.
