I met Lisa at Fred Astair's Dance Studio. She was a great swing dancer. Really burned up the rug. She also threw tremendous parties. My band, Klang!, performed at one of her parties - she was very tolerant of our talent. Another was a Halloween bash where the folks really got into costume - it was hysterical.
Lisa was smart and classy.

On behalf of the Mayor, City Council, Planning Commission, and city staff, the City of West St. Paul sends our condolences. Lisa was appointed to the committee of adjustments/planning commission by Mayor Halverson in April of 2018 and was a consistent and smiling face present at all of the monthly meetings. She was always quick to make a joke to keep the meetings light. However, Lisa was also thoughtful and always asked questions and was thinking about how to continue to make her city a better place for everyone. The loss of her presence and influence will be sincerely mourned, whether it be as an election judge, a liaison to the environmental committee, or planning commissioner, Lisa always showed up for her city and its people. So, it is our honor to say thank you for all of her work and efforts in making a better West St. Paul. She will be missed.
