Lisabeth Thurman-Raley Obituary
Lisabeth Lanette Thurman-Raley, 60, of Aztec, New Mexico, passed away peacefully on September 15, 2025. She was born on March 14, 1965, in Crossett, Arkansas to Bonnie Johnson-Thurman and Jimmy Carl Thurman.
Lanette was a lifelong native of Ashley County, Crossett, Arkansas. She had a passion for rock hunting and geology. She could often be found exploring nature, searching for unique discoveries of stones to share with others. Lanette approached life with warmth and kindness. In accordance with her wishes she will be cremated, and her ashes will be transformed into precious stones through Parting Stone, a fitting tribute to her love of rocks and the beauty she found in nature.
She is preceded in death by her husband Lynn Raley, son Jimmy Lee Raley, parents Bonnie Johnson-Thurman and Jimmy Carl Thurman, brother Mark Allen Thurman, and grandparents Bonnie Thurman and Cecil Thurman.
Lanette is survived by her loving daughter Toyette Thurman.
In lieu of services the family asks that you remember Lanette's joyful spirit and carry forward her legacy of kindness.
