Lissa Holley Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Coleman Funeral Home of Olive Branch on Feb. 18, 2026.
Coleman Funeral Home of Olive Branch

Melissa "Lissa" A. Holley, age 62, of Olive Branch, died Wednesday, February 18, 2026. She was born in Olive Branch, MS, on November 12, 1963, to Billy Wayne Holley and the late Elvie Christine Holley. Friends are invited to a visitation with the family on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at Coleman Funeral Home of Olive Branch from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. The burial will follow at Blocker Cemetery. Bro. Oscar Geeslin of Meadow Brook Baptist Church will officiate.

Lissa was a graphic designer and was a member of Meadow Brook Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Olive Branch High School, where she was in the band and color guard. She carried that love and support for Olive Branch throughout her life and continued to attend every football and basketball game for as long as she was able. Lissa was also an avid fan of the University of Memphis, formerly Memphis State, and Alabama. She loved watching stock car racing, football, and basketball. Most of all, Lissa loved her family and was incredibly close to her nephews and their children.

In addition to her mother, Elvie Christine Holley, Lissa was preceded in death by her brother, Dickey Gay.

Lissa will be lovingly remembered by her father, Billy Wayne Holley; nephews, Tyler Gay and Michael Gay; and sister-in-law, Pam Frazier.

Online condolences may be left on her tribute wall at www.colemanfuneralhomeob.com.

R.I.H to one of the realest women on this earth my Aunt/Mom she always been their for me and always had my back even though we had or ups and downs. I love you forever and always. Thank you so much for taking me and Tyler into your home like we was yours. I know it´s going to be hard for us both but like I told him we got to be stronger than ever you looking down on us now. We going to miss you so much. The kids are definitely going to miss you. I know you´re in a better place now. I know you not hurting anymore. LOL now you and Mawmaw and neanea can go sit front row in them pearly gates and watch the St. Louis Cardinals play just don´t do no cussing. I don´t think they allow it there lol. I know you watching down on us. No one could ever treat us better than you, no one loved the kids and took care of them like you did. I LOVE YOU MORE THEN YOU WILL EVER KNOW.

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always. Lissa was my classmate, I loved running into her and catching up. Rest we until we meet again.

Still can´t believe this has happened. I will truly miss texting with Lissa and our family visits. We didn´t get together as much as we would have liked, but we both knew the other was there for support when needed. Fly high sweet lady, you will be missed!
