Lizzette Lowery Harrison, age 92, passed away peacefully on 11/14/2025 Chesterfield County Virginia and is now at home in the arms of her Savior. She was a resident of Halifax for over 70 years.
Mrs. Harrison was born on April 25, 1933 in Walhalla, South Carolina, and was the sixth of nine children. Lizzette was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and follower of Christ. She was a member of Dan River Baptist Church.
Mrs. Harrison was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, D. Henry Harrison. She is survived by her son, Ronald Harrison of Fayetteville, N.C., daughter, Deborah Wiglesworth (Brian) of Chesterfield, Va.; granddaughters, Dr. Stephanie Harrison, Briannah Wiglesworth, and Kaylah Wiglesworth; grandsons, Corbin Harrison and Jason Harrison; and numerous great-grand children.
A private family service will be held to honor Mrs. Harrison’s life at a later date.
Revelation 21:4 - “He will wipe away all tears from their eyes. There will be no more death, no more grief or crying or pain. The old things have disappeared.”
