She was preceded in death by her husband, James Alton Shaw; son, George Lamar Shaw; parents, Joseph & Valley Thompson; sisters, Mary Nell Young, Daisy Lucille Shaw; brothers, JT Thompson, Bill Thompson, & Broadus Thompson. She is survived by her children, Margaret L. Baldwin, James R Shaw, Ruby Chandler (Jerry), Helen E. Melton (Ricky), Janice Cooper; grandchildren, Michael Kent, Amanda Flowers (Mark), Thomas Baldwin (Christy), Margene Baldwin (Steve Shema), Jennifer Hart (Beau), Joseph Lawson; great-grandchildren, Avery Hart, Allissa Hart, Addison Hart, Lexy Hendrix, Joseph Flowers, Donald Flowers, CJ Salcido, Alex Salcido, Kaylee Baldwin, & Luke Baldwin.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Scott Richardson officiating; interment will follow at Sodom Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday, November 10, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Condolences may be submitted on-line at www.scotward.com.
