Mr. Lloyd Page Capps, age 70, of Covington, Georgia passed away Thursday, April 21, 2022. He was born on January 14, 1952 to John Roy and Myrtle Capps who have both preceded him in death. Mr. Capps loved spending time with his family, grandchildren and attending their ball games. He enjoyed working with his hands, making people laugh, and building birdhouses. Mr. Capps was truly a jack of all trades. He enjoyed traveling and going on family vacations. Along with his parents Mr. Capps has been preceded in death by his sister Jacqui Bray. He was a God fearing Christian man.
Mr. Capps is survived by his wife Shirylene Capps; his children Brian Capps (Ashley) and Alison Cowan; his grandchildren Gage, Reagan, Scout, Stone, and Silas; his brothers Michael Capps, Doug Capps, Joseph Capps, his sisters June Smith and Wilda Serenko. He also is survived by his numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and close friends.
Funeral Services for Mr. Capps will be held this Sunday, April 24, 2022 at 3 PM at the Chapel of J.C. Harwell & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Jason Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM prior to the service.
