Lloyd enjoyed spending time on the golf course, and with family playing dominoes, and frisbee. Lloyd is preceded in death by Herbert Earl Gilbert, father, Emma Jane Murchison, mother, William Earle Gilbert, nephew, and Harold Goldman, brother-in-law.
Lloyd is survived by William Earl Gilbert, brother, and his wife Sue of The Colony, TX., Phyllis Ann Goldman, sister, of Fairview, TX., Audrey Elaine Burton Gilbert, companion of Gainesville, TX., Stacey Renee Hummel, daughter, and her husband Scott of Terrell, TX., Michael Joe Mahaffey, son, and wife Brenda of Johnson City, TN., and Lloyd James Gilbert, Jr., son and his wife Joy, of Manassas, VA., and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
