CHASE MILLS – Lloyd M. Seguin, 75, passed away Tuesday evening, September 16, 2025 at his home.

Lloyd was born July 2, 1950 in Malone, the son of the late Norman and Josephine (Vierno) Seguin. He attended schools in Massena, where he graduated from Massena High School. On June 26, 1971, he married Mary Ann LaForce at St. Lawrence Catholic Church.

Lloyd first started working at Via Main Restaurant along with working carpentry with is father. He later started a 25-year career with Alcoa where he was an equipment operator, most specifically a crane operator. As an equipment operator, Lloyd also owned his own backhoe and dump truck doing work throughout the community for many years. Additionally, he was also the caretaker for the St. Lawrence Catholic Church and Cemetery for many years, having to retire when he was diagnosed with cancer. He was a lifelong communicant of St. Lawrence Catholic Church, a member of the Knights of Columbus, Louisville Volunteer Fire Department, and Louisville Minor Hockey. He enjoyed hunting and was a regular at his children and grandchildren activities.

Lloyd is survived by his wife, Mary Ann; his children, Norman (Lisa) Seguin, Jeffrey (Rhonda) Seguin, Bernadette (Michael) Bullock, and Stephanie (Sean) Fay; a chosen son, Danny (Michelle) Meashaw; his grandchildren, Michaela, Hanna (Riley), Madison (Kaitlyn), Natashia, Jacob, Hayden (Olivia), Jessika, Alexa, and Victoria; 10 great grandchildren; his sister, Julie (Steve) Talbot; his brothers, Kenneth (Tina) Seguin, David (Sandy) Seguin, and Thomas (Elizabeth) Seguin; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his step mother, Doris; his sister, Kathi Lucas, sisters-in-law, Jane LaForce and Margaret (Frank) Burns.

Arrangements are under the care and guidance of the Donaldson Funeral Home, Massena on Wednesday, September 24th from 5-8:00 PM with the members of the Knights of Columbus holding memorial ritual at 6:30. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday 10:00 AM at St. Lawrence Cemetery, Louisville with burial to follow in the parish cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing may consider memorial contributions to be made to a charity of one's choice.
