Lloyd Thomas Stanley, 67, of Mt. Pleasant, MI passed away January 9, 2026.
Lloyd Stanley passed away on Friday, January 9, in Mount Pleasant, Michigan.
He was preceded in death by his former wife, Elizabeth Stanley; his three daughters, Paulette Rogers, Mary Hathaway, and Nichole Cox; his brothers and sisters, David, Gary, Julie, Gene, and George; and five grandchildren. He is also remembered by his many nieces and nephews.
Lloyd proudly served in the United States Marine Corps in the late 1970s through the early 1980s, where he formed lifelong bonds of brotherhood that he deeply cherished. He had a love for Motown music and found his greatest joy spending time with family and friends—especially playing cards and camping.
Lloyd was known for his quick wit and charming personality, traits that brought laughter and warmth to those around him. He will be remembered fondly by all who knew him.
A celebration of Lloyd’s life will be held on Tuesday, January 20, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Military honors will follow at 5:00 p.m.
