Logan V. Hankinson (Hank) 78, entered into rest Thursday, June 12, 2025. Logan was born March 4, 1947 in Quincy, Florida, the son of the late Dr. Elaine J. Harrington and Vincent Hankinson.
Logan retired from Johnson Controls, formerly Borg Warner after 42 years of service, mostly spent wiring cooling units for the US Navy ships. He was a member of Johnson Controls 25 year club and Club 42, former member of the Hawks Gunning Club.
Logan began his life with a heart that gave him many challenges. His heart also made him the kindest, most loving, wonderful man that he was. He loved a good laugh, and making people laugh. He enjoyed watching the Steelers play, and weeks away to Atlantic City and Myrtle Beach.
Logan is survived by his wife of 41 years, Cynthia L. Hankinson; children: Yvette Wertz and husband Tim, Andrea Eigo and husband Jake, Michael Kimes and wife Ashley; grandchildren: Jimi, Brandon, Hunter, Brock, Makyla, Dezaray, Carina; and three great-grandchildren. Also surviving is Logan's sister, Sandra Nailor.
He was preceded in death by sons, James Hankinson and Troy Hankinson, and grandson Ryan Hankinson.
A family celebration of life will be held at a later date.
The John W. Keffer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. is assisting with the arrangements.
