Loie Craft Jr. Obituary
Loie "L.C." Craft, 91, of Keithville, died peacefully in his home on August 28, 2024.
Loie was born to Loie Sr. and Alice (Beardan) Craft on July 6, 1933, in Shreveport. He was educated in Shreveport and was gifted in track earning him a college scholarship. Loie became a member of the Shreveport Fire Department and soon after was called up to serve in the Army during the Korean War. After his tour of duty, Loie returned to the Shreveport Fire Department while continuing to serve his country in the US Army Reserves. In 1970 he retired, Captain of Shreveport Fire Department #8.
He is survived by his children: Kenny, Marilyn, Linda, Anita and Cathy.
