Born on July 25, 1938, in Evans, LA, to Kenney Craft Sr. and Ethel Craft, Kenney Melcum Craft Jr lived a life full of adventure and joy. He made a living driving Peterbilt Dump Trucks but found true happiness in simpler pleasures like horseback riding on trail rides with his loved ones.
Kenney had a passion for jet boats and skiing, where he learned from the legendary Hellfighter fireman, Red Adair, behind the boat "The Blowout." His love for western movies was unmatched, being able to quote every line from his favorites. Weekends were often spent riding four-wheelers with family and friends, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
Kenney and his beloved wife, Renee Craft, shared a love for NASCAR races, often traveling to watch the thrilling competitions together. His love for life and adventure was infectious, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew him.
Kenney is survived by his beloved wife, Renee Craft; daughter, Sally Milum and husband Ron; son, Bubba Craft; grandson, Justin Milum and wife Amber; special family friends, Keith Hess, Darla Hess, Brayden Hess along with Nell Haden; brother-in-law, Kennon Brantley; sister-in-laws, Sandy Craft and Debra Middleton as well as numerous other loving family and friends.
Kenney is preceded in death by his parents; son, Jason Michael Craft; and siblings, Ruby Mincher, Ilene Williams, Samuel "Buddy" Craft, Ella Mae Hinson, Helen Brantley, Billy Craft and Marie Conklin.
