Lois Ann Forth, age 66, of Harrod, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 surrounded by family members. She was born on February 15, 1959 in Oregon, Ohio to Marvin L. and Phyllis A. (Skiver) Venzke. Lois was a 1977 graduate of Genoa High School and worked various retail positions throughout her life. She would go on to meet Mennis “Rusty” Forth and they would be married on July 11, 1985. Lois and Rusty celebrated 40 years of marriage together and raised four children together.
Above all, Lois was a person who loved life. She enjoyed talking with people and spending time with her loved ones, especially having a more noticeable smile when around her grandchildren. In her earlier years, she enjoyed riding motorcycles. In her free time Lois enjoyed watching soap operas, crocheting, and spending time at the campground with her husband. Going on golf cart rides there was one of her favourite pastimes.
Lois is survived by her loving husband, Rusty Forth; children, Trent Venzke, Danielle Forth, Andrew Forth, and Mennis Forth Jr.; grandchildren, Alex, Xzavier, and Bentley; siblings, Gloria (Jay) Eenigenburg “Venzke”, Mark and Steve (Dawn) Venzke, and Janet Reyome “Venzke”. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister-in-law Kathy Venzke, and loyal canine companion Blackie.
Family and friends may visit at Freck Funeral Chapel 1155 S Wynn Rd. in Oregon, Ohio, on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, from 2 until 8:00 p.m. The family will receive guests the following day on September 3, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. with a funeral service beginning at 11:00 a.m. Officiating will be Pastor Bob May. Burial will follow services at N. Oregon Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made in Lois’s name to the Cleveland Clinic.
