Obituary of Lois A. Khatchadourian
Lois Angela Khatchadourian, age 88, of Audubon, PA passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, January 25, 2024.
Born in Brooklyn, New York on April 7, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Angela (Gianquinto) Macaluso. As a native New Yorker, she never lost her passion for the city.
She was a Registered Nurse and prior to retirement was a Nurse Educator for Montgomery County Community College, which reflected her dedication to helping and serving others. She was a parishioner of St. Eleanor Roman Catholic Church and was devout in her faith. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy, and nothing made her happier then being on the beach surrounded by her family and close friends.
She is survived by her beloved husband of sixty-one years, Zohrab Khatchadourian; two daughters, Lee Khatchadourian-Reese (Jon Reese) and Erica Khatchadourian (Wade Alt); and five grandchildren, Max and Camille Reese; Cole, Kaiden, and Grant Alt.
Along with her parents, Lois was preceded in death by her siblings, Dolores Kendall (Harry), Joan Cuttitta (Ted), Joseph Macaluso (Barbara) and Carole Jane Ashton (Ralph).
A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2024, at 11:00 AM at St. Eleanor's Roman Catholic Church, 647 Locust Street, Collegeville, PA 19426. Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Saturday, February 10 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at St. Eleanor's Church.
Burial with immediate family will take place at St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont, PA.
A reception for the friends and family of Lois will be held at the Parc Bistro 4067 W Skippack Pike, Skippack, PA 19474 following the funeral service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to St. Eleanor Memorial Fund.
