Lois M. Kidd, 91

EAST LIVERPOOL – Lois M. Kidd, of East Liverpool, passed away suddenly Thursday, November 27, 2025, at the East Liverpool City Hospital. She was 91 years old.

Born at home in East Liverpool, February 13, 1934, she was a daughter of the late Bernard Kleman and Rhea Louise Russell Howell. A lifetime area resident and member of the East Liverpool High School Class of 1951, she was a homemaker, mother, and active member of the community. At one time, she worked as a telephone operator and at the Associate Finance Company. She was a longtime member of the First Church of Christ, Disciples where she loved to sing in the choir. Lois was a 50-year member of the Eastern Star and sang in the Community Choir where she especially loved the Messiah. For over 50 years, she enjoyed spending time with her friends at the NBG Card Club. She was at peace writing poetry, and her family and friends loved her pies and cakes.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale A. Kidd, in 2008. The couple married January 20, 1953. A son Scott D. Kidd passed away in 2021, and she was also preceded by a sister, Eleanor Jean Board, along with her stepfather, Charles E. Howell.

Her son survives, Craig S. Kidd and his wife, Julie, of East Liverpool, as well as a grandson Justin Boyd, great-grandson Jhett Boyd, a sister Roxanne "Roxie" Harsha and numerous nieces and nephews.

Rev. Norman Eckert will conduct a funeral service on Monday at 1:00 p.m. at the Dawson Funeral Home where friends may visit two hours prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Burial will be at Columbiana County Memorial Park.
