Lois N. McPeek, 80 of Colliers, West Virginia passed peacefully in her family's loving and tender care at home on Saturday, March 30, 2024.
Lois was a traditional homemaker, raising her seven children, and any other children or family that needed a loving home environment.
She was the daughter of the late Henry H. and Bertha E. Mercer Barnhart. Her husband, Thomas E. McPeek Sr, her son, Daniel L. McPeek, her grandson, Ryan Stevens, and her daughter-in-law, Susan McPeek also preceded her in death.
Lois was born in Uniontown Pennsylvania on April 29, 1943. She was born into the Methodist faith. Lois's idea of enjoyment, besides her family, was playing bingo, and cards, crocheting, doing puzzles, dancing, and listening to music of any kind.
Lois leaves a very close-knit family, her daughters, Christine (Edward) Martin of Myrtle Beach, SC, Alesia (James) Landers of Amarillo, TX, Anita (Ronald) Lyons of Weirton, and Virginia G. Welshhans of Colliers: and her sons, Thomas E. McPeek Jr, of Bergholz, OH, and Phil (Valerie Watkins) McPeek of Wellsville, OH. Two sisters, Marilyn Brown of Mars, PA, and Demaris Dagan of Adena, OH: her sisters-in-law, Joyce Barnhart of Weirton, Linda McPeek of Weirton, and Debra (Lawrence) Casto also of Weirton, and her brother-in-law, Frederick McPeek of Weirton survive as well. Also, there are several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
No services will be observed in fulfilling Lois's wishes, and the burial will be private. These services have been entrusted to the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester, WV.
