Lois Neff Obituary

Lois' professional career included nursing, running the streets delivering babies as a midwife and an attendant with the Atlanta Public Library. She was the matriarch of her family and took her role as the oldest sibling seriously. Raising four boys helped develop her patience and homemaking skills. Lois was an excellent cook who could whip up a meal from "nothing"; and she baked amazing birthday and wedding cakes for anyone who asked. Keeping textile arts current, she was a master quilt maker, seamstress and crochet enthusiast. If you knew Lois, you were probably gifted an afghan or toboggan with a scarf.
Lois was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Betty Phillips; brothers, Paul Phillips, Jr., Danny Phillips; and her husband, Larry.
She is survived by sons, Larry, Danny, Callan, Ronny; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; siblings, John, Ken, Lomand, Jo, Hope, Yvette, Yvonne; and a number of other relatives and friends.
Lois will be deeply missed by her family and friends, but she didn't give up without a darn good fight.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service.
