Lois married Lester Ockert in 1980 and soon after, Lester adopted her children. They resided on the family farm where she retired with her husband in 1983. They moved to West Fargo ND in 1990 to enjoy their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Lois liked to spend time with her family. She also enjoyed volunteering at the hospital and retirement home. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting and sewing blankets for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Lois also enjoyed reading.
Lois is survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister-in-law Janet Laube, nieces and nephews.
Lois was preceded in death by her husband, Lester, her parents Carl and Elizabeth Laube, and siblings Otto Laube and Leo Laube Sr.
