Lois Bernice Pittman, age 93, went home to be with the Lord on October 15, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Lois was born June 21, 1932, in Moyers, Oklahoma to Ben and Lula Dobbs. She spent most of her life living in Oklahoma, Texas, and later in Arkansas. She married Leroy Pittman and they had, 4 sons and 3 daughters together.
Lois was a house wife, raising their 7 children. She was known by many names including: Mom, Grandma, Granny, and MeMe. She loved to cook, crotchet, and watch television. She loved her daily soap operas and game shows. Her favorite color was purple and her favorite song was Amazing Grace, which she loved hearing hymns of. She always needed to have her hair done and her nails painted. She shared so many smiles and laughs with all of her loved ones.
Lois was proceeded in death by her parents Ben and Lula Dobbs, her husband, Leroy Pittman, sons Jimmy and Bruce Pittman, her brother James Gordon and sister Betty Winn, grandsons Scott Pittman, Alan Collmorgen, Robert L Castrejon and Carlos Lofthouse, granddaughter Beverly Brunswick, daughter-in-law Jean Pittman, and son-in-law Robert Cameron Sr.
Lois has many surviving family members including 5 children, 26 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, and 11 great great grandchildren.
Memorial service to be set at a later date in Houston, Texas.
