Lois Quick

Lois Quick, 98, of Fulton, passed away on August 7, 2023, while a resident at Kingdom Care.
She was born on November 7, 1924, in Markesan, WI to the late Merwin Kimble and the late Josephine (Lichtenberg) Kimble.
On February 24, 1943, she married Lyle Quick. He preceded her in death on March 18, 1974.
They made their home in Ripon, WI where they were a farm family. They moved to Fulton in 1962.
She was the owner of L & L Motel in Fulton for a short time and was a co-owner of Moore & Quick Trucking with her friend Tom Moore. Lois enjoyed gardening, traveling to the blue grass shows, camping, and going to dances at the Senior Center.
She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Phyllis Schoening (Gary); grandsons, Dean Schoening (Melinda) and Chad Schoening (Samantha Clay); great-granddaughters, Kara Schoening and Karlie Schoening; sister-in-law, Karren Kimble of Oshkosh, WI; brother-in-law, Eugene Brey, St Cloud, WI; and many nieces and nephews.
Lois was preceded in death by one daughter, Darlene Quick; brothers, Roger Kimble (Elaine), Maurice Kimble (Lorraine), and Kenneth Kimble; sisters, Harriett Hilke (Elmer), Shirley Wetzel (Mike), and Beverly Brey.
Private family services will be held at a later date. She will be buried in Liberty Prairie Cemetery in Pickett, WI.
