Lois Ramsier Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Waite Funeral Home Medina on Jun. 28, 2024.
Lois Mae Ramsier passed away June 27, 2024. Born Lois Mae Bacik to Helen and Joseph Bacik on March 6, 1949, Lois was the youngest of three children (Robert and Joseph). She grew up on the family farm in Litchfield, Ohio and graduated from Buckeye High School.
On May 3, 1969, she married her loving high school sweetheart, John Ramsier, at St. Francis Xavier Church in Medina, Ohio. They built a house next to the family farm and raised two children, Stephen (spouse Michelle) and Daniel (spouse Blanche). She is survived by John, her husband of 55 years, her children, her three grandchildren (Krista, Cassandra and Dakota) and her great grandchild, Rosalia.
Lois was fond of animals and over the years, loved her many fur children she and John adopted. She also enjoyed sitting on the back porch to watch the wildlife, especially the fawns playing. Lois, with her husband John, were avid motorcycle riders and made many great friends. They rode their Gold Wing to many places across the U.S, from the Blue Ridge Parkway to crossing the Mackinac bridge.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that in memorium donations be made to the Medina County SPCA. Donations can be made online at https://www.medinacountyspca.com/donate or can be mailed to Medina County SPCA at 8790 Guilford Road, Seville, OH 44273.
