Lois J. Diffenderfer Seilhamer, 83, of Chambersburg, passed away Sunday morning, June 4, 2023 at the Shook Home. Born February 15, 1940 in Chambersburg, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Gladys Arlene Marsh Diffenderfer. Lois was a graduate of the former Chambersburg High School and was employed as a seamstress at the Stanley Company in Chambersburg. She also provided daycare in her home for many years. She was a life member of the New Franklin Volunteer Fire Company where she volunteered many hours working in the kitchen. Her husband, Roy E. Seilhamer, whom she married February 16, 1958, preceded her in death on May 14, 1995.
She is survived by two sons, Mark Seilhamer and wife Roxi and Robert Seilhamer and fiancé Christina Wagaman, all of Chambersburg; four grandchildren, Bobbie Jo, Ashley, Paige, and Cameron; and three great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her daughter, Susan Faust on August 30, 2020; and an infant brother.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, June 8, 2023 in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA. Rev. Terry Hoke will officiate. Interment will follow at Lincoln Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 AM on Thursday at the funeral home.
