Lois Shubin Obituary

Lois Fay Shubin, 78, of Wichita Falls, Texas, passed away on July 14, 2025. Born on May 31, 1947, in Harrison, Arkansas, to Cecil and Agnes Davis, Lois lived a life full of faith, love, and dedication to her family and community. Lois married the love of her life, Martin Jack Shubin, on January 15, 1972. She earned her BA in Finance and worked as an accountant for Standard Oil. A woman of deep faith and compassion, Lois served as a Sunday School Superintendent, led children's church, and counseled many as part of Teen Challenge. She enjoyed reading Christian romances-especially Amish stories-working puzzles, tying macramé, camping, and taking road trips. Her life reflected her love for the Lord and her heart for helping others. Lois was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Agnes Davis; her siblings, Brian Davis, Clinton Davis, and Annamaye Davis; and her beloved son, Joseph Shubin. She is survived by her devoted husband, Martin Jack Shubin; her loving children, Rebecca Shubin and Rachel Alvarez; her brother, Lloyd Davis; and her cherished grandchildren, Erica Alvarez, Sergio Alvarez, and Jessie Alvarez. A graveside service will be held at Mt. Vernon Cemetery on August 8th at 11:00 AM. The family would like to thank all who have shared in Lois's life. Her memory will remain in the hearts of those she loved so deeply.
