Lois Marie Snow of Springport,
Passed away at home with her loved ones by her side on November 19, 2023, at the age of 82. Lois was born June 15, 1941, in Jackson, Michigan, the daughter of Ivan and Ruth (Hopcraft) Cockroft. She grew up on a farm and belonged to the 4H Club. Lois graduated from Springport High School in 1960. She married Robert Leon Snow on October 16, 1965, and started her family. Lois had many different jobs over the years, working at the Pickle Factory, The Bookbindery, Grable & Sons, delivered Flashes newspapers and even sold Avon for a period of time. She had many hobbies as well, enjoying knitting, sewing, gardening and genealogy.
Lois is survived by her husband of 58 years, Robert Snow of Springport; children, Shelly (Duane Depew) Rich of Battle Creek, Lori Snow of Jackson, Dennis (Norma) Snow of Springport, Daryl Snow of Springport; grandchildren, Richard Rich and Ivan Rich. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ivan and Ruth Cockroft; siblings, Dennis and Morris Cockroft.
A private family graveside service will be held at a later date. A Celebration of Life will take place at Springport United Methodist Church on Friday, December 8, 2023, at 1:00 pm. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to The Capital Area Humane Society in loving memory of Lois Marie Snow.
